A man has been reported and his car impounded after an incident at Cowell earlier this month.

At about 10am on Sunday, April 11, a number of witnesses reported seeing a white Nissan Patrol doing burnouts at several locations on Lincoln Highway.

As a result of an investigation, police identified the alleged driver and reported him over the incidents on Friday.

A 32-year-old man from Cleve was reported for four counts of misuse of a motor vehicle and one count of failing to truthfully answer.

His vehicle was impounded for 28 days and he will be summoned to appear in court at a later date.
